Test voters allow you to trial the election process before actual voting begins. They can cast votes anytime but must be removed before publishing the results.

1. Adding a test voter:

  • Navigate to the Voters section of the election you’re managing.
  • Click on the Add Voter button to open the voter addition popup.
  • In the popup, enter the name and email address of the test voter.
  • Make sure to check the Test Voter checkbox.
  • Click Confirm to create the test voter.

3. Sharing the test ballot:

  • Once the test voter is added, click on the Share Test Ballot button next to the test voter’s row in the table.
  • This will copy a test voting link, which can be used to simulate the voting process.

4. Removing test voters:

  • Before calculating and publishing the election results, all test voters need to be removed.
  • Use the Remove Test Voters button on the Voters page to ensure the test votes are not included in the final results.
